Terminal
Snippets
Save the commands you use often and run them with a click.
Create a snippet
- Open Snippets in the sidebar and click New Snippet at the top.
- Or select text in a terminal, right-click and choose Save Selection as Snippet.
In the inspector, give it a name, enter the command and click Save. A snippet can be a single command or a short script.
Use a snippet
Open the inspector on the right with ⌘I and select the Snippets tab ({ }). Then:
- Run sends the command to the current session and presses Return for you. Double-clicking a snippet does the same.
- Paste inserts it without running, so you can edit it first.
- Copy puts it on the clipboard.
- Run in All Sessions sends it to every connected terminal in all windows.
Run in All Sessions doesn’t ask for confirmation. Check which sessions are open before using it.
Termbit sends the command as if you typed it. It doesn’t wait for the result: you’ll see the output in the terminal as usual.
